Background:
The project intended to promote to the industry of honey bees management and its business in Sharistan and Ashtarlai districts of Daikundi province. This project covers 200 women and girls as the project beneficiaries. Each woman had been distributed one beehives and one empty box for increasing generation of bees in future. Technically, each beehive consisted more than 10000 bees which one queen resulting production of 25 kg of pure honey annually. According to the mentioned figure each women will have the annum income of 60,000Afs. But this result is subjected to the regular changes during the passage of time. The quantities of bees will increase and will cause more earnings than what mentioned. The project started in 1st July 2011 and will be completed in 31st December 2011.
Actions:
- Provide the beekeeping training for all of right holders
- Each woman had been distributed one beehives and one empty box for increasing generation of bees in future.
- Technically, each beehive consisted more than 10000 bees which one queen resulting production of 25 kg of pure honey annually.
- Conduct the business management training for honey bee beneficiaries and other.
- Held of Marketing training for right holder and they will learn the new method of Marketing.
- The quantities of bees will increase and will cause more earnings than what mentioned.
- All of right holders will be involved to processing of honey bee and they will selling their products at local and national market.
